Meet the Araneda & Stroud team
Araneda & Stroud Immigration Law Group is a full-service immigration law group with offices in Raleigh, NC. Our lead attorney has been board-certified in immigration law since 2004. Our attorneys serve as mentors to other immigration lawyers and hold positions within the Carolinas chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). We get invited to speak to immigration law presentations to both lawyer groups and non-lawyer groups.
Our principal attorney, Jorgelina E. Araneda, has been practicing law in the Raleigh area since 1994 as Araneda Law Firm. W. Randall Stroud worked with area law firms since the mid-1990s until he joined the partnership of Waller, Stroud, Stewart & Araneda in 2001. Araneda & Stroud Immigration Law Group was formed in 2007.
Jorgelina E. Araneda
Jorgelina Araneda has more than 22 years of experience practicing immigration law. In addition to a law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, she holds a Master of Laws degree from the George Washington School of Law in Washington, D.C., in international and comparative law.

Randall Stroud
Randall Stroud was licensed to practice law in 1994. He is admitted U.S. District Court, Eastern District of North Carolina and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. He received his bachelor's degree in economics from Davidson College, and his Juris Doctorate in 1994 from the University of North Carolina School of Law.
